This is my creative garden — an ever-growing collection of stories, projects, and playful attempts to make sense of the world. In this space, I’ve learned that growth thrives when we approach life with curiosity.
Follow me on my journey of discovery.
Something’s always brewing behind the scenes — the quiet, essential phases that don’t always show up on the surface. These are the moments of healing and growth, the ones that make us stronger, more resilient, and wiser. Often, the most meaningful change happens slowly, like a gentle simmer where flavors deepen and transformation unfolds over time.
This space is my invitation to you to witness that inner process — where I share my ongoing journey of healing, learning, and growth. Here, I explore how these experiences shape my life, my business, and everything in between.
I was born and raised in Switzerland, a place of precision, order, and breathtaking alpine beauty. Yet it never felt like my whole story. My mother’s roots are in the lush tropical landscapes of British Guyana—where rainforest canopies hum with life and the air feels endlessly alive. Growing up, I felt the pull of two worlds: one structured and measured, the other wild and free. Switzerland gave me stability and opportunity, but the other half of my heritage called for open horizons, richer colors, and a deeper connection to nature.
Over time, the fast pace and quiet pressures of Swiss life left me feeling out of balance, disconnected from the part of myself that thrived in wild spaces. I longed for a place where the rhythms of life were guided not by the clock, but by the sun, wind, and seasons. In 2017, I took a leap—leaving Switzerland behind and moving first to mainland Portugal, and two years later to Madeira, a volcanic island in the Atlantic where mountains plunge into the sea and the forest air feels like a living embrace.
Here, I began to slow down, breathe deeply, and truly listen—to nature, to life, and to myself. The move wasn’t just a change of scenery; it was a return to wholeness, a way of honoring both sides of my heritage. And in reconnecting with the earth, I rediscovered my own center.
Since then, I have poured my energy into projects that, in different ways, have brought me closer to nature. From co-founding Brighter Future, a branding studio helping founders in the sustainability and circular economy space, to writing children’s stories set in forests, to co-founding Campus da Terra, a nature-based learning initiative for children. Each project has been rooted in the belief that connection to the earth and to our inner selves is essential for a meaningful life.
Campus da Terra is a unique outdoor homeschooling hub, piloting right here on the island of Madeira. Designed for homeschooling/worldschooling families and children of primary school age, it combines the best of both guided academic instruction and child-led exploration. Our approach allows children to shape their own educational journey while benefiting from a supportive community of peers and facilitators.
Brighter Future Studio is a branding and storytelling agency dedicated to empowering climate and impact organisations. Brighter Future specialises in crafting compelling narratives, developing sustainable branding strategies, and designing impactful investor pitches to amplify their clients’ missions. Their services include branding solutions, storytelling workshops, web design and development, pitch deck creation, and content subscriptions, all tailored to elevate organisations committed to positive environmental change.
As an author, I am passionate about crafting tales that not only entertain but also encourage curiosity, self-discovery, and emotional well-being. To date, I’ve written two children’s books: The Story of Babushka (2020), a heartwarming tale of wisdom and tradition, and Listen to Your Inner Voice (2024), which invites children to trust their inner guidance and embrace their individuality.
I invite you to join me on this adventure, where each story is a step toward nurturing mindful, confident, and compassionate children.
